1. IRobot Roomba i3+ EVO
The i3+ EVO is similar to its sibling the i3 EVO. They differ only in the fact that the i3+ comes with self-emptying capabilities. The i3+ is an excellent option for those who want an automated, hands-free cleaning experience but are willing to manually empty the dustbin of the robot once it gets full.
Both robots are adept at picking up surface dirt on hard floors and carpets and can navigate around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software makes a smart maps of your home to aid the i3+ in its navigation and clean up efficiently. However, unlike the i7+ and other top-rated robots that we tested the i3+ does not have obstacle-avoidance capabilities which means it can be stuck on things like socks or power cords, and it can have difficulty in navigating through transitions between surfaces like hardwood to rug.
iRobot recommends you clear out areas that the i3+ EVO will vacuum prior to when you use it, which includes putting away any clutter or toys it may encounter. It's also an excellent idea to keep the bin and filter clean so that they aren't clogged by dirt. When the i3+ EVO’s internal bin is empty or the battery is depleted, it returns to the docking station and automatically emptys the dirt into the docking station's external dustbin. Then it continues cleaning where it left off. The i3+ EVO's battery lasts for approximately an hour and a half of continuous use, and it takes about three hours to fully recharge.
2. IRobot Roomba i7+
The iRobot i7+ is the top model in iRobot's flagship line and is packed with the latest technology. It's self-charging and self-navigating, but the most important feature is its self-emptying bin. This removes the need for regular maintenance.

The Roomba I7+ can make rooms more efficient maps using Imprint Smart Mapping. It also integrates with iRobot Home to schedule cleaning jobs, and you can control your robot via the app or via voice.
The i7+ is faster and more agile in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also removed large pet hair pieces from all surfaces, including carpeting. Its greatest advantage over the Eufy is its self-emptying garbage bin, which removes major maintenance sources and reduces recurring cost.
We were also awestruck by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We used these services to instruct the robot on how to begin, stop, or pause cleaning sessions and also to move around the room, and to vacuum a particular area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ with these services. When connected, we were able to give the i7+ voice commands such as "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options to manage i7+ settings and evaluating performance.
3. Dyson Cyclone V10
This tiny Dyson model is an all-sports car that is amidst a sea of vacuums powered by cordless that resemble minivans and buses. It's powerful enough to replace a stand-up vacuum in most homes, yet it is also small enough to fit on the bookcase or coffee table.

The advanced whole-machine filter system is able to trap allergens and then releases fresh air into your home. Its specialized head uses stiff nylon bristles to penetrate into carpets and pick up large dust or crumbs. It comes with three suction settings to suit the task at hand. It is able to swiftly switch from handheld to floor vacuum, and vice versa.
This model has an attached dock that charges the Dyson to 100% within 3.5 hours. It also provides an easy access to two attachments as well as the Wand. This is a huge improvement over previous Dysons which require a long charge and are difficult to store.
The main issue with the V10 is its limited running time. As CR's tests show, its claims to run up to 60 minutes are not true. This is a standard, not exceptional, battery-powered cordless vacuum's running time. It's enough time to vacuum the typical home, but not enough to reach every area. ( budget robot vacuum works). This doesn't mean that this model doesn't have its advantages It's lighter and more mobile than the older cordless Dysons, and its vacuuming performance is noticeably better on low-pile carpet.
4. iRobot Roomba 694
One of the most well-known robot vacuums the 694 is an affordable model that's a good option for those who don't want to spend too much on a robotic. It's capable of sucking up all types of debris and sizes during our testing, and it often passes over the same areas several times to get a really thorough clean. Its flat front allows it to reach the corners and the edges of walls.
Its navigation system is smart and uses iAdapt technology to stay clear of obstacles and help you navigate your home. However, it isn't equipped with the mapping capabilities of more advanced models, such as our top picks, i3+EVO and j7+ Series. Because of this, it can sometimes get stuck on things like phone cords or furniture that isn't in good condition, and frequently will run out of battery before making it back to its base.
The Xiaomi Mi robot is superior in many ways to the Roomba 694 because it has fewer parts that require regular cleaning, comes with an allergen-trapping HEPA filtration system, incurs lower cost of recurring costs, has more advanced automation abilities and can better maneuver itself. It also has a bigger dustbin and can charge faster.
The eufy RoboVac X8 is superior to the Roomba 694 in most purposes, as it has a longer battery life, can change its suction power mode manually, comes with physical boundary strips, and is operated by your phone's voice assistant. It's also more robust, has a larger motor, and is more effective on floors with low pile and bare.

In our tests, the Jet Bot AI+ performed well on hard floors, and cleaned up 86% of dog hair (on carpet). It did not do well in avoiding taller items like cords or socks. This was disappointing. It's also more expensive than the other models we've tested and this could be a deal breaker for some shoppers.
The app allows you to access the onboard camera of the smart vacuum. robot vacuum cleaners can also set up live streaming from the robot's cleaning area. This feature lets you to check in on your children or pets when you are away. The filter and the dustbin can be washed for an easy, quick clean-up.
